Half-yearly figures released today indicate a 13% rise in the number of people using Trussell Trust Foodbanks.
Our own stats reveal we have fed an additional 1000 people in that same time period – a 26% increase.
Benefit Delays and No Recourse to Public Funds are among the top reasons for this dramatic spike in usage.
