Coronavirus and response from Norwood and Brixton Food bank

12th March 2020

We as the food bank are continuing to operate and ensure that people in crisis get the support they require in these difficult times. We are aware we may see increased need as greater numbers of people find themselves in crisis and so increasing demands are made on our stock levels.

We are asking if people can consider buying one extra item as they shop. You may wish to download the foodbank app to find out the most up-to-date items we need.

Support us using www.bankuet.org.uk or www.givefood.org.uk to ensure we get the items we are really short of.

You can also donate cash to help us buy items ourselves.  Text to donate (Text Dinner followed by amount you wish to donate up to £20 to 70085) or see our donate page.

If you are a referral agency we will be sending updates to ensure you can provide vouchers to those in need and inform you of any additional measures we may need to put in place. If a client is unwell, self-isolating or has ongoing health issues that makes it not possible to visit a session, please do contact us to see if we can arrange a delivery on [email protected]
