This week we are holding our summer collection event at Tesco Brixton, 13 Acre Lane SW2 and Tesco Extra Streatham, 384 Streatham High Road, Streatham Common SW16 on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. This event is extremely important to us as foodbank need has increase hugely in the last few months and stock needs replenishing more regularly. The collection event will be non-managed this time so unfortunately customers will not be greeted by our lovely Norwood and Brixton Foodbank volunteers due to Covid 19 restrictions. If you shop at either of these stores, please do consider purchasing an extra item or two and drop them in the collection trolleys as you leave the store. Items we currently need are pasta sauce, tinned rice pudding, instant hot chocolate, bottles of squash, longlife full-fat milk, longlife fruit juice, puddings e.g. jelly, instant whip, sponges. Non-food items include size 5, 6 and large nappies, soap and shower gel. This list is not exhaustive and we are extremely grateful for all dontations.
