We would like to wish Local Greens a very Happy 10th Birthday this week and a huge THANK YOU for their support and supplying us with such fantastic fresh produce for our food parcels. Here’s a little bit about them:
Way back in 2011, two forward-thinking mums had the vision and ambition to make seasonal, local, organic food a reality for more South London households. Their mission became Local Greens – the Herne Hill based sustainable veg bag scheme serving Lambeth and Southwark. Ten years later, they’re still going strong and working for fairer and more secure food for all. Let’s see what we can achieve together in the next ten years!
