Donate food

Our foodbank relies on your goodwill and support.

Ways you can donate food to Norwood and Brixton Foodbank
  • Donate directly to our foodbank at South London Warehouse, St Margaret’s Church, Barcombe Avenue, Streatham Hill, SW2 3BH (Monday to Friday 9am – 2pm, Saturday 9.30am-11am. Put donations in the large blue drop boxes outside the church).
  • Drop food off at donation points at a venue in your community. Check the details in the link below for locations and opening times.
  • Even better, download the BanktheFood app, which will ‘ping’ you when you’re in one of our many participating supermarkets to let you know our latest needs. You can then buy and drop off the items at the drop-off point in the store, knowing that you’ve donated what’s needed most.
  • Give via online supermarket deliveries if you prefer to shop online. These can be arranged to be delivered at any of our sessions (Monday to Friday 9am – 2.30pm or Saturday 9.30am-11am) at St Margaret’s Church, Barcombe Avenue, SW2 3BH.
  • **Please note that Tesco Personal Contract Purchases (PCPS) are intended for food that has been purchased in-store. Any food that has been purchased in a different store and brought into the Tesco PCP store should be sealed by the donor and clearly labelled as having been purchased elsewhere.
You can see a map of all our donation points by clicking this link.

We promise to use all donations to provide help for people in crisis. Occasionally we send food to other nearby foodbanks to support their work, particularly if they are experiencing shortages. This ensures your donations go to help people, wherever they are in the UK. Please contact us if you have any questions about donating food.

You can see the list of all our donation points, including their opening times and the location of their drop boxes by clicking this link.
