Our foodbank relies on your goodwill and support

Figures released by The Lambeth Foodbank Partnership reveal that 21,946 emergency food parcels were provided to local people who couldn’t afford the essentials between April 2021 and March 2022 – 8016 of these went to children. This number of parcels is a 15% increase on 2019-20. As the cost of living continues to rise your food donations could not be more important.

We aim to give everyone referred to us a balanced and nutritious three-day supply of food. Every parcel includes fresh fruit and vegetables and, where possible, culturally appropriate items. Our shopping list on the right shows the food items that we need right now.

We promise to use all donations to provide help for people in crisis. Occasionally we send food to other nearby foodbanks to support their work, particularly if they are experiencing shortages. This ensures your donations go to help people, wherever they are in the UK. Please contact us if you have any questions about donating food.

Donations are welcome directly to our foodbank at the South London Warehouse, St Margaret’s Church, Barcombe Avenue, Streatham Hill, SW2 3BH (open Monday to Friday 9am – 2pm, Saturday 9.30am-11am. There will usually be our large blue drop boxes outside the church so donations can go directly in those). You can also drop food donations at the local food collection point locations below:
